Corner House

Design Development

Defined by the tension between weight and lightness, Corner House is a residence anchored by a heavy stone base and crowned by a louvered wood volume.  Like a lantern in the evening, it reveals itself slowly, drawing curiosity from the street before opening entirely to those who arrive.  Designed for a couple entering their most expansive chapter, every space is built around the pleasure of entertaining, opening and expanding with ease. It is a house that holds its ground while reaching outward, bold in form and generous in the life it is made to support.

Soft Sanctuaries

Pre Construction

Designed for a young and growing family, this three-bedroom apartment in Bonifacio Global City is rooted in care, foresight, and the quiet continuity of family life. Gentle curves and softened transitions across ceilings, built-ins, and circulation paths create an environment that is child-friendly without sacrificing elegance. Every space is is shaped to support the rhythms of daily life, where softness is not merely a design choice but a philosophy of living built to endure.

Open Thresholds

Completed 2025

Marubeni's headquarters in the historic Locsin Building is reimagined into a continuous open workspace, woven together by a feature stair clad entirely in white oak, marking the moment of arrival and ascent. The floor plan is reoriented to open deliberately towards Ayala Avenue, framing the city as a working backdrop along the building’s glazed right-angled corners. The decomposition of the interior space allows a fluidity between the interior and exterior. Here, the effect becomes cumulative: creating a workspace that feels grounded and timeless, redefining a century-old corporation.

Crossflow House

Under Construction

Featuring a linear design language, this home pays tribute to tradition while innovating with contemporary materials and forms. Perpendicular volumes in travertine juxtapose to create a boundless connection to light and air, while deep overhangs and carved voids temper the harsh tropical climate. Crossflow house provides a family of four a needed respite from city life, casting shade while drawing light and air deeper into the home.

nāda

Completed 2024

Nestled in Poblacion, nāda is a yoga studio, tasting room, and cafe rooted in dual meanings — the Sanskrit concept of sound vibrations and the North American word for nothing. The design moves slowly through the space: arches serve as fluid thresholds between movement and stillness, an undulating ceiling with diffuse lighting guides the eye during practice, and a white palette warmed by tactile niches and soft light invites quiet engagement. Here, design, practice, and the art of tea and coffee converge into a single floor devoted to inner clarity.

Gable House

Unbuilt - 2023

Nestled within the open farmlands of Rosario, Batangas, this residence draws from the agricultural archetypes of the surrounding landscape, reinterpreting vernacular form through a contemporary lens. Three distinct volumes organize the ground floor into a series of interconnected living spaces, each opening onto the expansive rural setting beyond. Above, a second volume appears to lift from the earth, hovering over the composition and lending the whole a sense of lightness. Together, the volumes create a dialogue between a home that belongs to its place while reaching beyond it.

Workspace Commune

Completed 2023

A simple, linear language in a shared family workplace pays homage to tradition while appealing to a contemporary audience, expressed through a harmonic grid of voids that defines the central lounge and creates a series of visual thresholds that tie the space together. Thoughtfully layered materials — natural oak veneer, fluted glass, gray fabrics, and white quartz — bring warmth and richness throughout, while light and reflective surfaces compensate for limited natural light.

Home for 3

Completed 2022

A contemporary residence in the heart of Bonifacio Global City is designed around openness and renewal, where the boundary between living and landscape dissolves into uninterrupted views beyond. The plan carves out distinct zones for focus and rest, each quietly defined without interrupting the flow of the whole. Millwork retreats into the walls, keeping surfaces clean and the eye unanchored, while a monochrome palette runs throughout. Restrained and deliberate, the architecture sets the stage for the foreground of everyday life. What remains is a home that feels both precise and effortless; a space that restores as much as it shelters.
